Behavior Support Systems of Virginia.

Personalized support and compassionate care for children 2-18 years.

Our Mission

We aim to provide meaningful and compassionate treatment with a focus on building socially significant skills, individualized for each learner. We use a whole-child, family-centered application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)to increase skills that would allow clients to more fully access relationships and activities while promoting each learner’s dignity. Treatment is designed to incorporate generalization and social opportunities within each session naturally.

Throughout the day we purposefully encourage interactive play inside and outside (weather permitting), in small groups, and play activities that incorporate their language, social, behavior, self-help, and self-advocacy goals. This ensures your child has a fun and meaningful experience. This model supports the whole child, provides motivation for learning, and promotes the generalization of skills.  Behavioral Support Systems of Virginia is dedicated to following the ethical standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board while working collaboratively with families and caregivers to provide a comprehensive support model.

Providing your child with a fun and interactive environment

Clinic services provide children with opportunities to apply play, social, and communication skills.  We offer private learning areas to focus on new skills and common play areas to incorporate gross motor, play, group, and social skills into each therapy session.

In-home and community-based options

We incorporate in-home services into plans to generalize skills and support caregivers. We also partner with daycares, camps, local parks, and recreation to apply skills across environments and provide your child with opportunities to access natural supports.
